Spotify More Than Talk: Elevating Conversations and Amplifying Podcast Love

The Challenge

Spotify wanted a local campaign that would recruit new users and raise awareness of their position as a podcast provider amongst a growing 35+ demographic.

Approach

More Than Talk was Spotify’s ‘book club for podcasts’ with unfiltered conversations about all things podcasts. Acting as lead producer and project manager, we recruited Masterchef Australia host Melissa Leong to chat with Grace Tame, Craig Foster and Steph Tisdell to help Aussies surface, demystify and discover podcasts across Sport, True Crime, Political Satire, Climate Change and more.

The series was seeded out across YouTube with social cutdowns and statics facilitating further discussion amongst Spotify’s community

The Numbers

The content had an engagement relevance index of 87%, with massive engagement rates among our audience who resonated with the podcasts and topics discussed in the series.
